Translink Structures Maintenance

Translink Structures Maintenance Works involved routine maintenance and emergency repair works to the rail infrastructure on the Northern Ireland rail network, including works associated with earthworks, retaining walls and bridges.

Econ were contracted to carry out the installation of scour protection work to a number of railway bridges on the network.

Challenges encountered were access arrangements to the site, liaison with Rivers agency and ensuring no sediment entered the watercourse silt traps were installed downstream from our area of works.
